Requirements:
Previous supervisory experience in Front Office within the hotel/leisure/retail
High level of IT proficiency
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Accountable and resilient
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent grooming standards
Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations
Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
Food and Beverage Manager
Requirements:
At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
F & B Department Management experience in a Hotel & Resort operation or an upscale dining and / or club operation
Experience with and knowledge of all F & B front and back of the house position with the ability to quickly assess service situation
Ability to train and evaluate staff in the processes of Food and Beverage operations.
Knowledge of liquors, wines, wine service, beers, and the selling technique and ability to pass knowledge on to staff
Basic Accounting skills for conducting inventories, scheduling staff, cash controls, loss prevention, analyzing monthly P and L statements, pricing, menus , food and alcohol
Experience creating spreadsheets for costing , portion control, etc
Experience with computerized POS systems, MICROS preferred
Experience dealing with the F & B Suppliers and contract negotiations.
